Voter Outreach Has Begun Volunteers Are Energized

June has brought on the heat and our voter outreach! So thankful to our volunteers who are knocking doors, getting ready to reach out to neighbors by phone, and organizing our postcard writing efforts. I’m thrill to share we already have visited with almost 500 residents in District 3 about a better option for County Commissioner. I so appreciate the great reception at the doors I’ve knocked and hearing from my neighbors about the issues important to them! I’d love to have you join our team!

Endorsement Corner

I have worked with Julie for many years in her various Blue Valley Schools volunteer roles. I have always found her to be committed to solving the issues that impact our people and community and to move Johnson County forward. I believe Julie will use her positive attitude and desire for progress to continue growing the reputation of our county.

Community Is A Verb!

Community in action sees and involves all of us. The Jubilee of Juneteenth: Celebrating a Legacy of Freedom was the theme of the County’s third annual event. Wonderful to see so many residents gather together for this celebration.

Ready To Serve On Day 1

Serving a county of more than 620,000 residents means understanding and staying on top of issues that impact residents. The past few weeks I have attended:

Resident Budget Open House for the 2025 proposed budget
Commission Meeting on Public Safety Budget – priorities areas include Sheriff, Department of Corrections, Court Services, District Attorney and Emergency Services
Annual Human Service Summit
