Good morning and happy Thursday, Johnson County!
It’s been another busy week on the campaign trail full of many great conversations and meaningful work towards our goal of representing District 3 in November. By tomorrow we will have knocked more than 5,000 doors! I’m so proud of our team and all of the hard work that has gone into passing this milestone. Not to be outdone, our phone banking team has crossed over 22,000 phone calls made in 2024. With every dial, we are working to talk about county government with residents all over the district and learning more about their priorities for their county commissioner.
As September comes to a close, we’re nearing another huge goal. I’m just $7,000 from fully funding my ambitious mail program for this campaign. This is a big race. There are over 80,000 registered voters in my commission district. That means it takes a lot of dollars to let folks know they have a better choice for Commissioner in District 3. My team and I are doing everything we can to make sure we’re successful in November.
