Dear supporter –
I’m sure you have heard about lines at early polling locations over the weekend. It was an impressive sight and I’m proud of our Election Office and all of the workers and volunteers that come together every election to ensure the functioning of our Democracy. Nearly 3,000 individuals in our commission district cast their ballot on Saturday, a record-high amount for first-day turnout, so we are now officially off and running.
Please make sure you have a plan to vote! Don’t get caught up in the long lines on Election Day if you don’t have to. We have a number of early voting options and locations in Johnson County that make it convenient for you to make sure your voice is heard. You can find advance voting locations and hours here: https://www.jocoelection.org/voting-election-info/advance-voting
On the campaign front, I am continuing to knock doors and call voters all the way up to Election Day. This past weekend, I had some great help as I spoke with neighbors about the choices they have this election cycle for their county commissioner. Thank you to Dr. LeEtta Felter for her company while door knocking and for the wonderful neighborhood meet and greet hosted by Stacy and Ben Overman!
I would love to have your help knocking doors or making phone calls to friendly voters! We have added another phone bank to the calendar on October 30th. I hope you will join me by clicking here or on the image below!
Thank you for your support!
Finally, thank you to the generous donors that contributed towards our final fundraising goal for this election. We raised $800 and are now just $4200 away from fully funding the remaining obligations of this campaign. If you can chip in towards this final goal, I would really appreciate your help!
