Campaign Kick-Off Huge Success
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Julie for Johnson County Kick-off Event on April 2nd. It was a full house, bursting with energy and residents ready for positive leadership change in County Commission District 3. Julie thanked guests for Showing up for Johnson County.
Community is a verb. Julie shared the importance of being active community members and building on the County’s solid foundation. Supporters were vocal in wanting to see change in Commission District 3 representation. Hosts shared that the event exceeded attendance and fundraising goals for the evening. However, there is still a long way to go to ensure Julie can reach the 82,000 voters in her district.
Special guests Overland Park Mayor Curt Skoog, and Johnson County Board of Commissioners Chair Mike Kelly, highlighted Julie’s expertise in working with the County and cities on vital issues impacting residents. They noted her ability work across all sectors.
